Dominion Atlantic Railway Bear River Bridge
16 January 2012 11:25am
The barge is high and dry, about ¾-hour after low tide, adjacent to rows of stumps of old
wooden piles that once supported the bridge that carried Highway One across
this river 1900-1973. Three small low islands in the foreground,
visible only at low tide, also are remnants of that bridge.
